Fire Pumps
Fire Pumps & Controls
A fire pump is used to provide high water pressure in a facilities fire sprinkler system. It’s usually hooked up to the city’s water supply or a water storage tank. The way it works is the fire pump starts when the pressure in the fire sprinkler system drops below a certain point. The sprinkler system pressure drops significantly when one or more fire sprinklers are exposed to heat above their designed temperature, and open, releasing water to put out the fire.
Has your fire pump reached the end of its life cycle or are you in violation to replace your old fire pump.
